AMSA 1st Anniversary Lecture

Amb. Dr. Emmanuel Enos is a seasoned diplomat and Migration expert, with many years of service in Ghana’s Customs, Excise, and Preventive Service and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He also has considerable experience in entrepreneurship having been the Group Chairman of ABK Group of Companies and Founding Partner of Keed Consultancy, an investment and management Company, established in Ghana.
During his career as a public servant, Dr Enos served as the first Ambassador of Ghana to the State of Qatar, spearheading negotiation for the inaugural daily passenger flights of Qatar Airways to Ghana and consolidating the existing friendly relations between the two countries. Prior to this, Dr Enos was appointed Director of Passports and a member of the First Council of Ghana Immigration Service. As a Passport Director, Dr Enos operationalized the budding digital passport processing and delivery system, coordinated the opening of new Passport Application Centers (PACS) at Tema, Circle and some diplomatic missions of Ghana abroad. He also served as the Director of Diaspora and coordinated the drafting of the first diaspora policy of Ghana with the team of experts from Centre for Migration Studies.
Apart from his Representational duties in Qatar as an Ambassador, Dr Enos served in three more countries; Ethiopia, Libya, and Malta as either Deputy Head of Mission or Head of Chancery.
Amb Dr Enos was the immediate past Director of State Protocol of Ghana. Currently, he is the Ambassador-In-Residence at LECIAD, University of Ghana.
Dr Enos holds a PhD degree in Migration Studies, University of Ghana. His first and second degrees were in Economics and International Affairs, from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Kumasi, Ghana, and University of Ghana respectively. A key feature of his career life is the admirable long list of professional courses he undertook, both locally and internationally, including Management (Ghana), international Trade and Commerce (Ghana), Taxation (Brussels), Diplomacy (Spain), Diaspora Engagement (Brussels) and Strategic Leadership & Foresight (Singapore).
Dr Enos is married with children.
